Our Buildings Engineering group specializes in the design and development processes unique to buildings. Working closely with our clients, our dedicated professionals help to establish and understand the specific needs of a range of building projects. For both public and private sector clients, we provide energy engineering and performance engineering services, covering each of the major engineering disciplines – structural, mechanical and electrical. Focused on providing the most cost-effective solutions to engineering challenges, we are involved in a diverse range of projects from the initial planning stages to design, construction, and commissioning.
Stantec’s Sustainable Solutions (S3) team, within the Buildings Engineering group, provide integrated, multi-disciplinary sustainability consulting services at every scale of the built environment, from building design to infrastructure management, to community planning.
Within S3 our Performance Engineering team specializes in commissioning, energy auditing, analysis, and economic evaluation recommendations leading to energy use optimization, cost savings, and Greenhouse Gas emission reductions for our broad range of clients. Responsibilities:We are currently seeking a Buildings Performance and Commissioning Specialist who has a background in buildings engineering with knowledge of HVAC and lighting systems, building control systems, energy and utility measures and programs. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, technical strengths, team experience and ability to provide excellent client service and a commitment to sustainable design.
