Stantec Consulting Inc., Project & Program Management Division continues to respond to the needs of our clients, and is currently recruiting for an individual to join our Operational Readiness team. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment and collaborate with the operational readiness team to ensure we deliver a gold standard product that will contribute to optimal healthcare delivery.

The role of the Consultant is a full-time position located in the GTA, with some travelling expected. The successful candidate will work directly with our Senior Consultants and in collaboration with our healthcare clients. The Consultant will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent project management capabilities providing professional growth and development within the team, and be able to draw on their previous clinical healthcare management knowledge to be a trusted advisor.

Consultant Role & Responsibilities:

▪ Works with Senior Consultants to engage with clients

▪ Uses project planning processes and innovative solutions to develop client workplans, reports and presentations

▪ Assesses ongoing performance of client projects

▪ Monitors and revises client documents throughout the phases of the project

▪ Determines critical strategy items and key issues based on healthcare experience and knowledge

▪ Provide written reports and verbal presentations to client implementation teams in collaboration with member of the Stantec team


The successful candidate should have the following experience, skills, and behavioral attributes:

Experience and Education:

▪ 5-8 years of healthcare industry experience

▪ 2-3 years healthcare management experience (Manager level minimum)

▪ An undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a graduate degree preferred

▪ Minimum 3 years’ experience with project planning and collaborating with multiple teams

▪ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain

Skills & Behavioral Attributes:

▪ Utilizes healthcare experience and knowledge to Identify options, alternatives and solutions to achieving client objectives

▪ Analytical and detail-oriented

▪ Flexible work schedule to enable some extended hours and travelling as required
