Overview: Stantec’s Environmental Management team in Sidney, British Columbia provides a wide range of environmental services in a variety of sectors, including mining, pipelines, electrical transmission, oil sands, wind farms, and conventional oil and gas. With more than 100 professional, technical and support staff in our office, we provide extensive knowledge and capability in both regulatory planning and scientific specialties. Our services include environmental assessments; wildlife, vegetation and soil surveys; ecosystem mapping and modeling; GIS and information management; wildlife habitat evaluation and modeling; development of management plans and monitoring programs; mine reclamation; aboriginal consultation; archaeology; and regulatory permitting.
