We help solve capital project challenges through the use of formal project management processes, enabled by project management technology. Our professionals focus on managing program activities, expectations, and risk, while leading, supporting, and/or advising clients throughout all stages of the project life cycle.


Our Program and Program Management group is looking to hire two Project Managers for Sarnia and Nanticoke locations, working at the client’s site as part of an integrate team. Projects are related to real estate and facilities and include such items as spec and furniture management to large building retrofits. Changing needs in the supported business units give rise to many other different tasks. In addition, certain projects may relate to infrastructure maintenance including building end of life analysis and replacement/upgrade of infrastructure components on an annual basis. Services require the availability of on-site resources for base business, additional peek extended project demands and the ability to execute demanding schedules while ensuring a safe working environment and contributing to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Candidate must become familiar with, and adhere to the client’s corporate business controls requirements for services.
  • Candidate will be the main contact on site for all client requests, reviews, approvals, schedules, other communications as well as project closure.
  • Candidate is responsible to coordinate all client's construction trades for construction requirements.
  • Candidate shall prepare general scope of work documents for bid estimates for existing contracts and coordinate bid documents (scope of work, coordinating procedures, safety, or other) for new contracts with the client.
  • Candidate shall apply the safety program to ensure no safety issues arise from such work during the term of the project.
  • Candidate shall review all proposed change order (PCN) requests with the client and effect issuance of same, following approvals.
  • Candidate shall follow the client’s turn over process.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or other engineering discipline.
  • You are registered as a Professional Engineer within the Province of Ontario and possess extensive knowledge of all relevant codes and standards.
  • Familiar working within a large operating plant environment .
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other project management degree/certification and +8 to 12 years of related project management experience including the ability to manage large, complex projects or programs on time and within budget.
  • Requires project management capabilities, planning and engineering background, quality control, building operations and maintenance knowledge.
  • Possess good counseling, facilitation, conflict resolution, consulting and communication skills.
  • Must also have advanced interpersonal, team building, leadership and organizational skills.
