We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.

Responsibilities:

 

Due to growth, Stantec's Red Deer office has an immediate opportunity for a Process CAD Designer.  This office has over 170 people supporting our clients' projects locally and across Canada.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of engineering design drawings concerning various process mechanical and civil applications which may include:
    • Pump stations,
    • Reservoirs,
    • Water and wastewater treatment facilities,
    • Lift stations,
    • Water and wastewater piping.
Qualifications:
  • A diploma from a recognized Engineering Design Drafting technology, Civil Engineering technology or related 2 year diploma program.
  • Minimum of three years related experience.
  • Proven design drafting skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Land Development Desktop.
  • ASET (Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists) membership or be eligible for membership within 1 year.
  • A strong desire to work as part of a larger team.
  • Field experience in any of the above noted facilities will be considered an asset.
  • Review and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Long term commitment to the position and the career.
