Overview: Our Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities:Mid to senior-level bridge engineer with 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience to include Texas bridge design, rehabilitation, widening and/or replacement projects. Duties will include all aspects of bridge design from preliminary engineering and layouts through PS&E, including: structural analysis, detail designs, and quality control checks utilizing TxDOT LRFD design procedures and software, and AASHTO LRFD design manuals. In addition, engineer shall coordinate designs with project manager and highway/roadway engineers, lead and develop the bridge/structures staff, assist the Transportation Practice Leader with project pursuits and proposal preparation, and monitor and achieve the targeted utilization rates.
