Overview: Our Transportation Group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities:An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Project Manager to become part of a dynamic transportation group specializing in transit. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for preparing proposals and work plans for new assignments, business development to expand client base within the office and market segment, working with other transportation staff and departments to complete projects. Other duties would also include the assisting the Principal for Transit to develop the transit market , and managing existing projects. Experience in transit and client relations would be an asset. Qualifications:As the ideal candidate, you possess a minimum of 10 years experience in the project management and/or transit project implementation with experience in the design of transit related facilities and are registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. You are experienced in MS Office Suites, and MS Project, is essential. You demonstrate the ability to manage projects and teams of different disciplines. You are comfortable being the Project Manager on Transit projects and are able to undertake marketing and project management functions. You have strong oral and written communication skills, and place a high emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work. In addition, your strong leadership and team building skills are essential to meet the expectations of this challenging position.
