The BlueGreen Alliance (BGA) is an innovative national partnership between ten national labor unions and four national environmental organizations working to create good jobs, a clean environment and a green economy. BGA is focused on promoting programs and policies that result in the development of clean energy and green technology with a special emphasis on:
JOB SUMMARY BGA seeks a full-time Grants Manager in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. to manage a growing docket of foundation and government grants in a high-volume development department responsible for raising $10 million annually. The Grants Manager will report to the Director of Development. The successful candidate will have a background working in nonprofit development, with experience in foundation, major donor and grassroots fundraising a plus. Strong writing ability is essential, as well as research, communication and organizational skills. Interest and/or work experience in economic development and the environment is preferred.
