Our Mining Practice in Tempe, AZ is looking for an exceptional professional to serve as our Project Controls Support.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

The Project Controls Support position is responsible for assisting the Project Controls Manager/Coordinators in all aspects of Project Controls including, but not limited to, duties and responsibilities detailed below. The Project Controls Support position reports to the Project Controls Manager but, on a day-to-day basis, also works in collaboration with Project Managers and the project team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Weekly project progress/status reports.
  • Project set up – new and change order requests.
  • Weekly utilization forecast assistance.
  • Contract administration assistance.
  • Monthly project progress/status report assistance.
  • Project Change Notice (PCN) request preparation and log.
  • Subcontractor lien releases, weekly reporting, & monthly invoice review.
  • Stantec Opportunity Pipeline (SOP) project updates.
  • Monthly billing review (unbilled detail reports).
  • Coordinate project activity requests with Project Administrators (PAs).
Qualifications:
  • Must have relevant training, experience and/or certification in project management/project controls procedures and 2+ years experience working in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience in preparing and reviewing spreadsheets.
  • Above average written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, project drive environment.
  • The ability to deliver quality results with efficiency.
