Responsibilities of this position include performing project management and health & safety and industrial hygiene consulting services for a variety of clients (including industrial/manufacturing companies); mentoring less experienced staff; client management services for existing clients; sales of additional Stantec services to existing and new clients. Successful candidates will possess advanced technical skills, knowledge, effective oral and written communication skills including presentation, and public speaking skills.
Candidates should have knowledge in and experience with federal, state and local regulations affecting industrial and manufacturing facilities, particularly OSHA and other rules pertaining to industrial hygiene and worker exposure monitoring and safety.Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should have a bachelor's and/or master’s degree pertaining to Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology, or similar technical field. In lieu of such degree, candidate should have received a Certificate of Advanced Achievement in Industrial Hygiene. Candidates should also have the following: minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial hygiene projects and direct client work. Prior consulting experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be certified by American Board of Industrial Hygiene in Comprehensive Practice.
