We are currently looking for Intermediate and Senior Pipeline Project Engineers to join our Oil & Gas group in Quarry Park

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the preparation, review and approval of final pipeline project engineering design reports
  • Oversee the review of mechanical equipment technical bid submissions
  • Oversee the development of construction contracts and the tender/analysis/award process
  • Report to the Project Manager on budget and schedule for engineering tasks
  • Direct and coordinate the project pipeline engineering team for the execution of the design of projects
  • Provide direction to the project mechanical/pipeline project team
  • Coordinate activities of the pipeline/project team with other project disciplines
  • Oversee and mentor junior pipeline engineering and other technical staff
  • Ensure compliance with project plan and procedures
  • Reinforce corporate quality and safety standards
  • Oversee the implementation of corporate quality and safety standards into the projects
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of engineering work scope and cost estimations when required
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of pipeline and associated facilities design experience
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience
  • Lead engineering design executions role in projects with capital expenditures in excess of $10MM
  • Work in the downstream oil and gas industry, preferably in Western Canada
  • Supervision of 5-10 other engineering staff/project teams
  • Extensive experience with pipeline system design, construction and federal/provincial regulatory jurisdictions
