Responsibilities:Stantec's Dartmouth office is currently looking for a Senior Automation /Controls Engineer /Designer. This individual will be an excellent communicator and skilled problem-solver with a strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic work environment where you will play a pivotal role in a diverse range of projects, from initial planning to design to construction.
This position is of interest to self-directed individuals with 8+ years of experience. The individual will be expected to work independently on electrical automation design as an integrated member of an interdisciplinary design team. Responsibilities include the design of complete automation systems including PLC, HMI, AC/DC drive, high level personnel safety design, communication network selections and integration, participation in control panel design and generation of bill of materials, cabling, PLC and HMI programming, and commissioning for commercial, industrial, institutional, public and private facilities.
