Our services include architecture, interior design, and planning for a wide variety of sectors. Responsibilities: As the successful candidate your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Junior: • Prepare design development presentations • Assist in preparation of contract drawings, details • Interest in mentorship, guidance and direction from experience team members • Complete assignments within timelines • Support good policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety • Assist in the research of and compilation of construction Materials • Assist in the printing, assembly, circulation and filing of project documents Intermediate: • Prepare design development presentations • Prepare contract drawings, details and sketches from conceptual design through to construction • Interest in mentorship and guidance from Seniors, Job Captain while mentoring Juniors • Liaising with multidisciplinary project teams • Assist with and /or managing contract administration services • Assist in preforming building code analysis • Complete assignments within timelines • Support good policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety Senior: • Provide expertise in the detailed design of buildings • Provide mentorship, guidance and direction to others in the Production Team • Prepare contract drawings, specifications, schedules, details and sketches from conceptual design through to construction • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams • Advise on approaches to construction documentation and team composition • Support Contract Administrators or perform contract administration yourself • Complete projects within timelines and budgets • Support good policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety • Collaborate with Authority having Jurisdiction Represent Stantec Architecture in public and meetings in a professional matters Qualifications: Junior: • Graduate of a recognized Architectural Graduate Program or Architectural Technologists Program • The ideal candidate will have approximately 0 - 5 years of experience • Excel in Autodesk Revit Architecture and AutoCAD Architecture Desktop 2011 • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, • Attention to detail is a must • Positive attitude • Desire to learn • Strong work ethic
Intermediate: • Graduate of a recognized Architectural Graduate Program or Architectural Technologists Program • The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 - 10 years of experience • Excel in Autodesk Revit Architecture and AutoCAD Architecture Desktop 2011 • Demonstrated experience in a variety of project types and project delivery methods • An understanding of Alberta Building Code and building science resolutions • Have an above average communication and organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, • Attention to detail is a must • Positive, problem solving skills • Strong work ethic and desire to advance your skills and abilities Senior: • Graduate of a recognized Architectural Graduate Program or Architectural Technologists Program • The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 plus years of experience • Strong desire to advance your skills and abilities • Excel at written and verbal communication • Excel in Autodesk Revit Architecture and AutoCAD Architecture Desktop 2011 • Demonstrated experience in a variety of project types and project delivery methods • Experience in healthcare is highly desirable • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, especially younger teams • Attention to detail is a must • Positive, solution-oriented attitude • Understand building envelope resolutions • Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and the National Building Code • Experience in Contract Administration is an asset Qualified candidates who are highly motivated and eager to commit to Stantec Architecture's strategic initiative to become a Top 10 global design firm should submit their resume and cover letter online at www.stantec.com/careers .
