We're looking for a talented and creative Production Designer who loves layout and typography to support our marketing team.
Do you secretly kern signage when walking down the street? Do you dream in CMYK or RGB? Are you able to move from InDesign to PowerPoint without missing a step? Are you interested in using your design skills to help people make social and environmental change? We're looking for someone who can answer yes to those questions, and who wants a hands-on opportunity to hone their design skills in a business-savvy, deadline-driven nonprofit setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to develop brand and marketing materials
- Conceptualize, design, and update printed marketing collateral and publications
- Design and edit graphic elements for web and print
- Format web pages according to brand standards via our content management system
- Design and build html e-newsletters and web layouts
- Maintain a consistent look and feel across print and web assets according to brand guidelines
- Provide design direction and support on additional marketing and communications projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in web or print design, pre-press, or other related field, with a demonstrated portfolio
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable with online content management systems, HTML, and CSS
- Comfortable learning new technology and software
- Solid knowledge of design principles (typography, information hierarchy, color, etc.)
- Meticulous attention to design and production detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests, and take critique and art direction gracefully
- Enthusiastic commitment to Net Impact’s mission
- Flexible, positive attitude, team player, and sense of humor
- Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing software (e.g. After Effects) a plus
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-team environment a plus
