Job Description:  Overview:

Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources management, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, information management, environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health and ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, storm-water permitting and planning, and audit support services . We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

Our Redmond, WA office is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill their Environmental Technician position.

Responsibilities:
  • Operations duties including project management of mid-sized environmental projects as well as task management on larger remediation projects.
  • Individual will serve as an assistant project manager and will have good writing skills, and good client interface skills.
  • Experience with site characterization and remedial engineering(including remedial design) is preferred.
  • Field work is required and includes staff and subcontractor oversight, soil and groundwater collection, operation and maintenance activities for remediation systems, soil gas surveys, groundwater well installation, and Phase I and Phase II review.
  • In addition to engineering; administrative office work may include; data compilation, report writing and regulatory file review. Phase I site assessment writing experience is a must.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Environmental consulting or similar.
  • BS Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, or related Geoscience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS Degree Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, or related Geoscience.
  • P.E. license, LG in the State of WA or other scientific registration at state level.
  • 3 - 8 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience managing junior staff.
