Job Description:  Overview:

Our Water group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in wetland science, wildlife biology, air quality, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, environmental impact analysis, GIS, and Information Management. We help our clients to identify and respond to opportunities and threats within constantly changing regulatory and corporate environments, through active engagement with the public, stakeholder groups, and governmental regulators. Our team members have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects that may include endangered species assessments, cultural resource assessments, habitat restoration, wetland characterizations, water resources management, greenhouse gas management, and broad environmental impact analysis. We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the environmental and natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Project work assignments related to assistance with planning, preliminary design, development of bid documents, and construction management services for various water, wastewater, water resources (drainage calculations), civil/site, roadway, and related infrastructure projects for municipal clients
  • Responsible for completion of assigned tasks, with guidance provided by senior staff; work will be performed in coordination with a Project Engineer
  • Duties involve performing basic engineering calculations, report writing, information and data gathering and drafting routine correspondence
  • Assist with submittal reviews and design intent responses during construction projects
  • Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies
Qualifications:
  • Licensed civil engineer
  • 5-7 years of experience with site design
  • AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to work well with others
  • A strong commitment to safety
