Stantec's Red Deer office has over 150 people supporting our clients locally and across Canada. An opportunity exists for a Senior Construction Site Inspector to become part of our dynamic team.
Reporting to a Project Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of 10 years’ experience providing construction superintendent services for various types of building facilities, including institutional, industrial, commercial and healthcare. Preferably, you have an education in engineering or technology and have a sound technical background and thorough understanding of construction activities, administration of project contracts, construction payment processes, and health and safety issues. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and are highly organized. The successful candidate will be expected to adapt to a flexible work (construction related) schedule and have available transportation for travel purposes. You demonstrate problem-solving abilities along with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is paramount. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently registered or are eligible for registration with ASET.
