Overview: With the understanding that effective management of our water resources is critical to public health, economic development, and the long-term health of the environment, our Water group is focused on delivering and managing sustainable water and wastewater solutions. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage. Responsibilities: - Project work assignments related to assistance with planning, preliminary design, development of bid documents, and construction management services for various water, wastewater, water resources, civil/site, roadway and related infrastructure projects for municipal clients
- Responsible for completion of assigned tasks, with guidance provided by senior staff; work will be performed in coordination with a Project Engineer
- Duties involve performing basic engineering calculations, report writing, information and data gathering and drafting routine correspondence
- Assist with submittal reviews and design intent responses during construction projects
- Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies
Qualifications: - We require a bachelors degree and 2-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite; CADD design including Civil 3D and Microstation is required. GIS experience is a plus
- Past co-op or intern experience demonstrating relevant experience is preferred
- Must be a self-starter, demonstrate good attention to detail and possess strong interpersonal skills
