Stantec is One Team providing Infinite Solutions. Responsibilities:Stantec’s Red Deer, Alberta office is currently seeking Survey Assistants to join our Urban Development group.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
» Assist on a survey field crew » Locate and read survey stakes and monuments » Maintain and operate survey equipment » Transport survey equipment on the job site
Located in Central Alberta, the Red Deer office has a vibrant environment with excellent opportunities for professional growth. Red Deer is within 90 minutes of Alberta's two largest cities of Calgary and Edmonton. Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following: » Two year Geomatics or Civil Diploma or equivalent work experience » Physically able to work on construction sites in all types of weather conditions » Although not required some survey experience is desirable » Proven ability to learn and take direction. » Valid drivers license » Own transportation to and from the work site
