Job Description: 

The Position
Conduct three-hour environmental and science based and history programs for Kindergarten through twelfth grade school children. Topics include riparian and grassland ecology, ecosystems, Native American lifeways, geology, animal adaptations, and activities relating to the enjoyment of nature’s beauty. Additional responsibilities will include rotating weekend days (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) on our trails or at an information window for public contact purposes, and occasional evening work for training and conducting public programs. Job begins October 8, 2012, and continues through June 10, 2013, approximately 20 to 28 hours per week, with reduced or no scheduled hours during school and program breaks.

The Location
Wind Wolves Preserve, a 95,000-acre nature preserve in the foothills at the southwestern tip of the San Joaquin Valley, is located approximately 40 minutes south of Bakersfield. Click here for more information.
