Stantec's Power Group provides a full range of innovative services to support the operations of our power and green energy clients through a variety of value-added processes.
Stantec’s Power Groupoffers services for all phases of the project life cycle, from pre-project planning and approvals through detailed design and construction support. Stantec has completed full engineering for many ground-mount solar projects, wind farms, substations and utility transmission and distribution designs. Leveraging our multi-discipline approach for power projects Stantec is able to offer complete engineering solutions to support utilities, developers, owners, and constructors. Responsibilities:We have an immediate opportunity in our Kitchener, Markham or Mississauga Offices for Project Design Managers in our growing Power Group. You possess a strong understanding of the growing energy market including suppliers, manufacturers, developers and owners within Solar Photovoltaic and wind farm systems deployed for distributed generation as well as utility-driven initiatives such as feeder designs and substations. You will be responsible for ensuring that multi-discipline services take place in a timely fashion and within defined project budgets. The ability to understand and guide each discipline of engineering including electrical, civil and structural will be critical to the success of this role. Qualifications:
