Job Description: 

The Environmental Dredging and Restoration Division of MD Environmental Service has a vacancy for a Project Manager I (Grade 9) at the Dundalk Marine Terminal, Baltimore, MD site. Primary responsibilities include project management and technical oversight of environmental, engineering and operations support, financial management of hazardous waste projects and facilities, and ensuring compliance of environmental operations, construction and monitoring activities with Federal, State, and local permit and regulatory requirements. This person will manage preparation of technical reports and proposals to clients. This person will be responsible for scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of on-site construction related projects, field staff and activities. Remediation and/or Construction Management experiment a plus!

Minimum qualifications include a BS degree from an accredited college or university in a recognized area of engineering or environmental sciences from an accredited college or university; four years of applicable engineering and/or environmental site assessment and remediation experience or other related field. Two years of this experience must include managing environmnetal, engineering or other technical staff and multi-disciplinary environmental, engineering, or operations projects. Up-to-date 40 Hour Hazardous Training is required for this job.

Experience as author/preparer of scientific and environmental technical publications and reports and environmental documentation and experience with field-level environmental monitoring, data collection, and analysis. Strong verbal, technical writing, and solid financial management skills preferred. Must be computer literate, specifically with respect to spreadsheets and word processing. Valid drivers license with less than 6 points, the ability to lift 50 pounds.
