We specialize in sophisticated process engineering and simulation, materials handling, electrical and instrumentation, rotating equipment, equipment specification, controls and automation, finite element and stress analyses for piping and structural systems, HAZOPs, and risk review of plant designs. Responsibilities:

An immediate opportunity currently exists for a Junior Mechanical Engineer in our Fredericton and/or Saint John, NB office.

Working on a variety of projects under the guidance of senior engineers, your responsibilities will include:

  • Project execution, delivering on-time, within budget and to the required quality.
  • Development of design specifications and solutions for complex piping systems and challenging equipment layouts.
  • Mechanical design of industrial systems
  • Providing technical support to other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in site based projects.
  • Undertake term assignments in client offices.
Qualifications:

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a person who wishes to develop their skills and capabilities within a challenging, team-oriented environment.

  • Hold a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 1-5 years experience
  • Membership or eligibility for membership in APEGNB
  • Must be capable of independent work in fast paced, schedule driven environments.
  • Highly motivated and capable to work independently and as part of an integrated multidiscipline team.
  • Strong communication skills, organization capabilities
  • Proactive and analytical problem solving skills to deliver work
