Position Overview
As the technology solutions manager you are responsible for the delivery of a range of information technology products
related to Earth Advantage’s mission. Working closely with external IT developer‐partners, you will manage the
development and delivery of these products to both internal and external clients. You will assist in determining the right
mix of product functionality, track product development budgets, and manage client relationships. Your strong technical
proficiency and interpersonal skills allow you to effectively manage projects and timelines in support of product
development activities, organize and schedule work, identify resources to support external developer partners, and
research new functionality opportunities.
Role Description
Creates development strategy for Earth Advantage products in concert with external developer partners.
Works with external developer partners to manage IT application development and customization projects.
Determines customer functionality needs and sets appropriate development and budgetary expectations.
Develops work plans, schedules, estimates and resource plans.
Plans development activity with external development partners.
Ensures clients receive prompt and effective support and assistance.
Provides input on product data structure and architecture.
Monitors the delivery of product customization.
Writes, designs, or edits web page content, or directs others producing content.
Works with quality assurance team to ensure testing protocols have identified bugs and errors before release.
Develops project plans to meet expected delivery dates.
Contributes meaningfully to EAI’s strategic objectives.
Role Competencies
Required:
5 + years experience in IT product and customer management.
Technical thinker familiar with managing the development of internet technologies, including databases,
web/mobile apps, SaaS, and APIs.
Ability to troubleshoot technology and provide technical training to others.
Superlative project management skills.
Ability to work independently and build effective interpersonal relationships inside and outside of the
organization.
Preferred:
Degree or certificate in information systems, computer systems development, or related discipline.
