With services that include feasibility studies, grading design & earthworks analysis, drainage studies, stormwater management studies, and design for site and infrastructure improvements, we provide efficient solutions that are environmentally responsible, functional, and technically sound. We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer in our Irvine, CA office. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer will be the lead design professional on each land development project. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and direct all aspects of the project development and design process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist project manager / project principal with client, consultant, and project team coordination on projects
  • Perform and oversee all aspects of design (grading, streets, water, sewer, storm drain, horizontal control, signage & striping plans, etc.)
  • Prepare / oversee the preparation of SWPPP and WQMP documents
  • Responsible for coordinating, QA/QC review, and stamping construction documents and technical reports
  • Prepare Engineers Opinion of Probably Cost
  • Prepare Technical Specifications and Special Provisions
Qualifications:
  • 10 years of professional engineering experience on land development (infrastructure, residential, or site work) projects
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCad and drainage software required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office software (word, excel) and Microsoft outlook.
  • Good organization, coordination, and managerial skills necessary to maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Good technical writing skills; capable of writing reports, letters and technical specifications
  • Good verbal communication skills and "people" skills
  • California PE required
  • QSP / QSD certification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
