We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Responsibilities:

We have immediate opportunities for an Intermediate Environmental Site Assessor to join our dynamic Environmental Services team in Burlington or Kitchener, ON. We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities:

  • Execute field programs with site visits, test pitting, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapor surveys, soil and groundwater remediation monitoring and surveying; and
  • Carry-out office duties such as data collection, data management, analysis and interpretation, report preparation, proposal preparation, and other general tasks.
  • Work with clients in various sectors, ranging from oil and gas to government, insurance and commercial real estate.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Diploma in a two or three year Environmental Technology program
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience in conducting field programs for environmental site assessment and/or remediation projects is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the various provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Eligibility for professional registration (e.g., C.E.T) would be an asset.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license
