Conservation Begins Here.
The Student Conservation Association (SCA), America’s #1 conservation service organization seeks a Partnership Development Coordinator for their northwest regional office based in Seattle, Washington.  This role is responsible for implementing the regional business plan through the development and retention of new and existing partnerships while creating and retaining opportunities for Conservation Interns, Corps and High School Crew Programs. Reports to the Regional Vice President.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, budget, and implement strategic site visits to meet annual financial goals for Conservation Interns, Corps, and High School Crew Programs; working strategically throughout assigned geographies that cross multiple organization and agency regions.
  • Market Intern and Crew programs to new and existing partners within assigned regions.
  • Work as the primary outreach representative within northwest region to educate continuants on SCA’s mission, programs, policies, and organizational priorities.
  • Assist new and existing partners in all processes, interns, corps and crews requests, agency agreements, intern management, and evaluations of partner’s specific needs and funding levels.
  • Provide insight into emerging external market trends, initiatives and requests. Coordinate communication for purposes of internal organizational research and development and for the strategic alignment of marketing resources and programmatic growth.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in natural resources, public administration or similar field, preferred
  • 2 years related experience or 5 years of relevant program, government, or NGO experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, sales, partnership and network development, with a variety of agencies, organizations and institutions.
  • Ability to develop and manage extended networks and long term relationships with partners.
  • Experience in customer cultivation, materials and marketing development and finalizing transactions.
  • Demonstrated public speaking and presentation experience, skill and comfort.
  • Knowledge of natural and cultural resource management issues and knowledge of client agency cultures a plus.
  • Database management skills and strong MSOffice experience.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate self-motivation and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license with MVR that meets SCA standards.
  • Willingness to travel 2-3 times per month for multiple days.
  • Must have access to cell phone for business purposes
