We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage Responsibilities:An opportunity exists in Ottawa for a Junior/Intermediate Water Resources Engineer. This role is for a highly motivated engineer with stormwater and/or water resources experience. As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to plan, analyze and design water, stormwater and wastewater management systems and facilities primarily in the municipal market sector with a dynamic design team. Depending on the assignment, you will report directly to the PC Leader or Senior Project Manager and will have primarily modeling analysis and design responsibilities. Other responsibilities include:
As the ideal candidate, you are registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario or will be eligible for registration. You have 1 to 5 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulics related to water, wastewater and stormwater management issues. A strong knowledge of municipal design requirements will be an asset. The ability to work in a team environment, with minimal supervision, is essential. Ideally, you are a self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. In addition, you possess a strong working knowledge hydraulics, hydrology & hydrodynamic modeling tools used for analysis and design of related facilities.
