Coastal Camp at NatureBridge is a summer day camp designed to combine marine and coastal ecology themes with hands-on educational activities and games, providing exciting opportunities for discovery in the great outdoors. Coastal Camp runs from June 11 until August 17, 2012 (with training occurring June 5-9). Each weekly theme has been chosen to highlight and take advantage of our natural outdoor location in a stunning and unique national park setting within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Sausalito. Coastal Camp Field Science Educators (CCFSEs) increase knowledge of and appreciation for the environment by creating and implementing themed weeklong day camp sessions for campers entering grades 1-9. Coastal Camp seeks educators who can successfully infuse educational and learning opportunities with fun and adventurous programming through games, creative songs, and outdoor explorations.
