Job Description:  Overview:

Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources management, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, information management, environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health and ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, stormwater permitting and planning, and audit support services . We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

We are currently searching for an energetic, self-directed Regional Commercial Sector Leader for our Central Canada Environmental Services team. This role can be based out of any of our Central Canada offices, including Ottawa, Markham, Mississauga, Kitchener, Burlington, Guelph or Montreal.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead business development efforts, build and foster commercial client relationships.
  • Generate leads and new business with current and future clients.
  • Responsible for implementing effective business development strategies and motivate others to deliver on targeted objectives.
  • Participate in short and long range planning, establishing organizational priorities, implementing the organization’s strategic plan and vision, and the overall management and performance of the organization.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing activities across a diverse group of practice areas.
  • Manage “pipeline” and produce/analyze sales management information.
  • Represent the Company with clients, regulators, and at technical forums and networking events.
  • Develop, review, and sign proposals, and contract documents in accordance with Company Policy.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 7 years of diversified experience within the business development and management consulting realm of a large consulting engineering and environmental services firm.
  • Strong familiarity with Industry, and Industry Leaders in Ontario a must.
  • Strategic thinker who demonstrates in depth expertise and solves problems of significant complexity
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
