We specialize in sophisticated process engineering and simulation, materials handling, electrical and instrumentation, rotating equipment, equipment specification, controls and automation, finite element and stress analyses for piping and structural systems, HAZOPs, and risk review of plant designs. Stantec is seeking a detail oriented, well organized, dependable person with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Houston, TX office.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include handling day to day tasks such as:

  • Performing task management for sites undergoing assessment and/or active remediation.
  • Scheduling, scoping, reporting, and budgeting
  • Coordinating with subcontractors
  • Field work will be required, including drilling and construction oversight.
  • Work will be conducted under the supervision of a project manager.
Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have:

  • A BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related Earth Sciences.
  • 2-5 year’s related experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Field experience and remedial design experience a plus.
  • Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, good work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with the ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • OSHA 40-hour training preferred.
