The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career. Responsibilities: - Primary point of contact for client engagements
- Establish planning rigour and implement control processes based on practice methodology
- Actively engage client stakeholders in planning sessions to develop operational implementation plans
- Utilize healthcare experience and knowledge to inform client’s approach to implementation
- Assesses ongoing performance of client projects
- Determines critical strategy items and key issues based on performance data
- Identify options, alternatives, and solutions to achieving client objectives
- Identify issues and risks to the project
- Work with client teams to develop solutions to issues and mitigation strategies to identified risks
- Provide written reports and verbal presentations to client implementation teams, senior management and occasionally to the board of directors
- Creates a relationship of trust with client sponsor
- May require extended hours and some travel based upon project geography and demands
- Participation in business development pursuits and occasional support with proposal writing
Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of hospital operational management experience
- Experience in Hospital redevelopment planning and understanding the connection between operational readiness and building design
- Hospital strategic planning experience
- Hospital project management experience
- Understanding of Ministry of Health and Long Term Care processes
- Understanding of governance models an asset
- Capital planning/ P3/ DBFM experience an asset
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a graduate degree preferred
- Demonstrated understanding and application of project management processes and principles
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain
- Lean Green Belt Certification is a definite asset
