Job Description:  Overview:

Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources management, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, information management, environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health and ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, stormwater permitting and planning, and audit support services . We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for senior level engineering tasks such as remedial technology evaluations, system design, system effectiveness evaluations and troubleshooting, managing engineering projects, client marketing and development, and regulatory negotiations/interpretation.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Bachelors degree in Environmental or Chemical engineering; MS and PE preferred
  • Must possess at least ten years of relevant experience in construction management, remedial technologies and applications in soil and groundwater media.
  • RCRA, NPDES stormwater permitting and air permitting experience desired
  • Must have experience remediating chlorinated solvents and oxygenates
  • Fate and transport modeling is preferred
  • Should have wide variety of site experiences, from retail gasoline station to complex industrial sites
  • Must have experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies
  • Must have superior communication skills, ranging from discussions and training with staff, to interactions with clients and regulators, and to report/proposal/document preparation
  • Must have a high level of safety awareness and hazard identification
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and meet deadlines for multiple contemporaneous projects Must be able to accommodate extended periods of travel
  • Must be proactive in meeting goals of projects
