Overview: Our Ontario Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, heavy and light rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities:Opportunities exist in our Southern Ontario offices for Construction Administrators to become part of a dynamic transportation group providing professional design and construction services to public sector clients, including the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), regional and local municipalities, and others. As the successful candidate(s), you will be responsible for Contract Administration/Inspection (Construction) services under the direction of a Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):
As a candidate(s), you must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience, an OACETT registration in civil engineering technology or P.Eng designation and the MTO Road Construction designation Road Construction Contract Administrator (rcca). You must have previous contract administration experience and have solid technical abilities in highway/arterial roadway construction inspection and administration including work in the MTO environment. A combination of both MTO and/or municipal road construction experience is desirable. You demonstrate excellent communication skills, dispute resolution and problem solving abilities along with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is priority one. |
