Overview: Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in surficial geology, terrain sciences, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, air and noise modeling, agrology, fisheries biology, hydrogeology, hydrology, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration and regulatory permitting. We help our clients to identify and respond to opportunities and threats within constantly changing regulatory and corporate environments. Our team members have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects for a wide range of clients. These projects follow the full life cycle of the project from initial impact assessment and regulatory applications through construction, operation and site remediation and reclamation. We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences and engineering to join our team and advance their career.

Stantec’s Terrain Sciences Group is actively involved in a number of challenging earth science projects ranging from rail, pipeline, road and transmission routing to aggregate inventories and landslide and geohazard mapping and assessment. The current projects are located in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nunavut, Yukon, British Columbia and Newfoundland and Labrador as well as internationally in California and Peru.
