A senior leadership position is available for a Profit Center Practice Leader (PCPL) for our Urban Land Engineering group located in Red Deer, Alberta. As Practice Leader, the successful candidate will be a Professional Engineer, responsible for the quality and quantity of technical services provided to our commercial land development clients and for maximizing value to the client.
Working with the Profit Center Managing Leader, you will be recognized as a technical leader in the Profit Center and will be accountable for developing, implementing and succeeding in achieving growth and performance objectives. The Practice Leader is also responsible for implementation of the practice area's business plan with a primary focus on growth, technical excellence, and financial objectives. Specific roles and responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer with at least 10 years experience in the implementation of land development projects. The candidate will have experience in the design, project management and contract administration of successful projects.
The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of approval processes and has developed a strong relationship with Land Developers as clients. Strong leadership, financial management, communication, and team building skills are essential for the candidate to meet the expectations of this challenging position. Prior consulting experience within the Land Development sector, and established client and agency contacts, are essential. All candidates will be required to complete an Organizational Performance Profile (OPP).
