Overview: With the understanding that effective management of our water resources is critical to public health, economic development, and the long-term health of the environment, our Water group is focused on delivering and managing sustainable water and wastewater solutions. Our team members are passionate about resource renewal and sustainability, and apply both knowledge and technology to deliver life cycle solutions for both public and private sector clients. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage. Responsibilities: This is an entry level position that will assist project engineers and project managers in design and planning of water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems. This person will be invloved with performing basic design calcuations, equipment research and specifications and plan development. The person should have good communication skills and ability to work with others on group projects. Qualifications:The candidate must have a BS in civil or environmental engineering with 0-2 years of water/wastewater treatment facilities or sewer design experience.
Education required: BS, Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET Accredited Institution. An FE (EIT) certificate is desirable. Skills required: MS Office Suite and Auto CAD skills are desirable Must have a valid drivers license Must be willing to travel to various job locations must be willing to work in the field as necessary |
