Job Description: 

The Environmental Law Institute (ELI) is seeking a part-time graphic designer to work in our downtown Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate for this entry-level position will be fluent in Adobe Suite products, including InDesign4, and have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college. A native English speaker is a must, as proofreading copy will be expected.

The designer must be adept at taking abstract concepts and turning them into clever and creative designs. Materials would include: brochures, newsletters, ads, flyers, webpages and templates, logos, and more.

ELI is a non-profit think tank that supports our nation’s environmental laws by educating lawyers and other professionals in the field about how to make those laws work. ELI is a pleasant work environment and located within easy access to all forms of public transportation. The designer will work ON-SITE, reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, and will have the ability to work from home on occasion. This is a part-time job without benefits, with a limit of 20 hours per week on average.
