Stantec is One Team providing Infinite Solutions. Responsibilities:An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Junior Surface Water Resources Engineer/Technologist in our Kitchener office. As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to complete the surface water resources component(s) of a wide variety of projects in a dynamic design team setting. You will report directly to the Project Manager or Team Lead and will have primarily design responsibilities. Other responsibilities include:
As the ideal candidate, you hold or a Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering or Civil Technology Diploma and up to 5 years’ related experience. Ideally, you are a self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. You should be able to work in a team environment and have a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none. A strong knowledge of municipal and urban development design will be considered an asset. In addition, you possess a working knowledge of various software packages for the planning and design of facilities (e.g., SWMHYMO, HEC-RAS).
