Overview: Our Water sector team is focused on sustainable water and wastewater solutions, applying state-of-the-art technology for both public and private sector clients. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage. Join a team where great people and great ideas truly make a difference. Responsibilities: - Support senior permitting group staff with a variety of tasks.
- Prepare for and perform water quality monitoring field events.
- Develop spreadsheets, analyze data, generate data tables, and produce data plots for presentation in reports.
- Assist in the development of reports of waste discharge for renewal of NPDES permits.
- Under supervision, produce technical memorandums and reports in response to regulatory requirements.
- Under supervision, develop and implement pretreatment program elements.
- Track project schedules and budgets for multiple projects and tasks.
Qualifications: - Entry-level position
- A bachelor of science degree in civil engineering, environmental science/studies, or related field.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability to perform field work under a variety of terrain and weather conditions.
- Developed time management skills.
- Familiarity with water quality issues and regulations.
- Valid driver's licensed and good driving record required.
- Prior to employment with Stantec, this position will require the successful completion of a physical and drug screen.
