Our Dartmouth NS Office has an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer. Responsibilities include design of medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems for industrial plants and facilities. Candidate should have demonstrated experience in the use of engineering software packages such as ETAP and SKM PowerTools. Experience in designs for petro-chemical processing facilities and working knowledge of hazardous area classifications and electrical system protection coordination & arc flash analysis would be a definite asset. Prepare engineering design drawings and providing technical support on a variety of industrial and power utility projects. Drawings could include motor control schematics, electric heat trace design, switchgear AC and DC schematics, logic drawings, protection and control one-lines. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to obtain diversified experience in electrical design associated with industrial and utility plant facilities. Qualifications:
