Responsibilities:

Stantec is currently seeking a civil engineer, with 1-3 years experience, to join our site/civil and surveying department in our Philadelphia, PA office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the private, as well as local, State, and Federal sectors.  This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals and help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development, as well as capital improvement projects.  Also, this individual may be needed to visit some project sites and perform construction administration activities.

 

  • Site/civil development including grading design, water and sewer infrastructure design, road way
  • design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Survey development including all aspects of topographic base plan preparation.
  • Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents or construction plans.
  • May also perform code and deed research, write specifications, provide quantity and cost estimates, and perform permitting activities.
Qualifications:

•           Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3-D is required

•           Experience with Microsoft Office is required

•           Experience with Hydro-CAD preferred

•           Civil Engineering Degree from ABET accredited school

•           Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
