Our Environmental Services group is dedicated to managing environmental issues professionally and proactively. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our staff of professionals includes specialists in marine biology, wetland science, wildlife biology, soil science, fisheries biology, botany, hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources management, forestry, habitat and ecosystem restoration, permitting, GIS, information management, environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health and ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, stormwater permitting and planning, and audit support services . We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the natural sciences to join our team and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

There is an opportunity in our Calgary office for a highly motivated Project Management Administrator.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the following but not limited to;

  • Developing and maintaining cost reporting to support client and project needs
  • Monthly project progress/status report assistance
  • Project invoicing and accounts receivable/sub-consultant tracking
  • Reviewing project time for accuracy
  • Contract administration assistance
  • Development, maintenance and ongoing administration of the change management process for the project
  • Supporting the opening and set up of projects and proposals in Stantec’s accounting system
  • Assisting with project budget preparation and review
  • Producing client-ready documents
  • Supporting conformance with company policies and procedures
  • Preparing correspondence when required
  • Updating databases
  • Contacting clients as required
Qualifications:

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, you possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.   You have a commitment for excellence in your field along with excellent computer skills and you enjoy working in a team atmosphere.

 

As the successful candidate, you will possess or have demonstrated the following qualifications;

  • Completion of a diploma or degree in business is an asset
  • Two to eight years of related work experience
  • Ability to use Excel proficiently and creatively to problem-solve and communicate
  • Proficiency at an intermediate level in MS Office suite
  • Experience with Oracle is an asset
  • The ideal candidate has the ability to work with initiative, professionalism and confidentiality, and is able to work independently, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment
  • Has demonstrated the following:
    • Attention to detail
    • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude
    • Initiative in problem detection and resolution
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Well organized, ability to prioritize and multi-task
