Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Operator-In-Training - Environmental Systems Supervisor at the Charlotte Hall Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Water/Wastewater Apprentice This 3 year program includes on-the-job training, an independent study program & professional in-house mentoring & coaching. The Apprenticeship Program is designed to provide, upon completion, a career as a Certified Licensed Operator of Water & Wastewater Treatment System. Starting pay is $12.74 per hour with excellent benefits. During the 3 year period, there will be periodic pay raises based on motivation & performance. Successful graduates of the program will be offered Operator positions with Maryland Environmental Service. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with less than 6 points and have the ability to lift 50 lbs. |
