Stantec’s Calgary office is seeking a Linear Infrastructure Municipal Engineer-in-Training to join our Water group.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and design of municipal infrastructure including water distribution, and sanitary and storm sewer systems.
  • Assisting in managing projects, administering contracts and controlling budgets.
  • Site grading design.
  • Site development plans.
  • Contract document preparation, including detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • Construction contract administration and site inspection services.
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Municipal Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years consulting experience, primarily in municipal infrastructure. Local experience is preferred.
  • Registered, or eligible to qualify, with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow in your career.
