The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career. Responsibilities:Working in our Sudbury, Ontario office, you will assume the role of Senior Mine Ventilation Specialist. Working on multiple projects for various clients, you would be responsible for the following design aspects: - Design of mine ventilation systems including fan duties, heating and cooling plants, excavation sizing, and airflow requirements. - Development of ventilation computer models/simulations. Completion of trade-off and optimization studies regarding ventilation system design. Qualifications:As the ideal candidate you have related post-secondary education with 10+ years of applicable heavy industrial experience (mining related ventilation experience would be an asset).
You possess a professional registration and have excellent knowledge of applicable design codes.
Specific experience in ventilation design for heavy industrial operations and projects.
Understanding of various application tools (including Ventsim, VnetPC, Clim SIM).
You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
