Job Description: 

SEEA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission of promoting and achieving energy efficiency through networking, program activities, and education. The results of increased energy efficiency will be a cleaner environment, a more prosperous economy, and a higher quality of life in the southeastern United States.

 

SEEA is based in Atlanta, GA, and is active in the 13-state region of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and the Virgin Islands. SEEA has developed close partnerships with existing energy organizations and businesses in the Southeast, including investor-owned and public utilities, wholesalers, retailers, state governors and energy offices, state public utility commissions, environmental and energy nonprofit organizations, energy service companies, manufacturers, universities, consumer groups, low-income advocates, and residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural consumers.

 

Executive Assistant will provide support work for the Director of the Programs and Services Division of SEEA and others as necessary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Reads, screens and routes incoming mail and email of the Director
    • Composes and types routine correspondence for Director.
    • Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence including contact information and business cards
    • Answers and screens Director’s telephone calls and voice mail, as well as arranges conference calls.
    • Coordinates Director’s schedule and makes appointment.
    • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations for Director. Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
    • Conducts research and compiles reports for Director.
    • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities.
    • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.
    • Processes, organizes, and maintains files of invoices.
    • Screens sub-recipient and vendor payment requests and expense documentation.
    • Prepares Director’s monthly expense reports and screens employee expense reports.
    • Monitors and compiles funding announcements for the Director’s review.
    • Compiles contact lists of related NGOs and vendors.
    • May identify and screen networking events, conferences, webinars, and articles of priority and interest to the Director.

Requirements:
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Access. Project coordination experience. Can handle multiple priorities, highly organized and professional. Must be a team player and have excellent intrapersonal skills.

Salary Range: $32,500-$40,000
