The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career. Responsibilities:Working in our Sudbury, Ontario office, you will assume the role of Senior Electrical Engineer. Working within a dynamic team of technologists and engineers, you will design electrical and controls systems for mine infrastructure projects, including single line drawings, wiring and schematic drawings, interconnection drawings and loop instrumentation drawings. Opportunities may occur for temporary site construction project assignments related to quality assurance, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Qualifications:As the ideal candidate you possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and have 8+ years of applicable experience. You are a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada and have excellent knowledge of applicable design codes. The successful candidate will be proficient in the design, specification and commissioning of medium and low voltage power distribution systems and motor control installations, including across the line starters, soft starters and VFDs. Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code is essential. Experience in underground mining and familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations are assets. You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere. A high degree of problem solving and decision making skills are essential. You have a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none. |
