The Energy Action Coalition Tar Sands Campaign Manager coordinates the Energy Action Coalition’s campaign to stop the Keystone XL Tar Sands pipeline. The Tar Sands Campaign Manager develops and implements online and offline campaign tactics with youth leaders and organizational partners across the country that builds the growing student and youth movement to stop tar sands oil development. This includes coordinating youth turn out to hearings and events in key states, supporting field organizers, and implementing a unified campaign strategy to pressure President Obama to “veto” any approval of the Keystone XL Tar Sands pipeline. Scope: The Tar Sands Campaign Manager works with Energy Action Coalition partner organizations and youth volunteer leaders to coordinate efforts and build media and grassroots momentum around this campaign.
