Edmonton is Head Office for Stantec and is home to an energetic, well established group of over 1,300 multidisciplinary professionals. Our Urban Development group consists of 150 people involved in land development planning, landscape architecture, engineering and water resources disciplines.

Responsibilities:

This is a junior level design drafting role working with civil design teams and field personnel in a variety of urban design projects and studies located in and around the Edmonton region. You will be working closely with land development professionals who will provide guidance and mentorship. Qualifications:
  • A Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized program with preferably at least 2 years of experience in land development - residential subdivision planning, roads, site grading and/or municipal engineering
  • Computer proficiency in AutoCAD as well as other software tools such as Civil 3D, LDD, or MicroStation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written skills are essential
